Welcome to CS50.11A - HTML 1

Le Nguyen This course is designed for the beginning student who wants to learn to create web pages by directly coding HTML. You should be familiar with the basics of using computers and accessing Internet web pages. It doesn't mater if you are a Mac or PC user. You can use either to do the work in this class.

We will cover the basics of using HTML to provide stucture for your web pages, and then "style" them using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). If you are expecting a cut-and-paste type class or web design using a "what you see is what you get" (WYSIWYG) type of environment, then this is not the class for you.

I've designed this site to aggreate some of the resources and materials that you will need for the class. You'll find some useful links in the navigation column to the left. Additionally as we cover specific examples during the weekly face to face lecture, I will be posting those here so that you can review them if you wish.

Please feel free to email me at any time with any questions or concerns you have have reqgarding the class.
